Your documents never leave your device. PDF Guard opens and edits PDF files entirely inside your browser. No file, page, image, or text you work on is ever uploaded to, stored on, or transmitted to any server. The editor works offline.
We do not collect, transmit, or have any access to: your PDF files, their contents, your signatures, images, or anything you create or edit. All of this stays on your device (in your browser’s local storage) and is under your control. You can erase it any time from Settings → Local data.
PDF Guard is free to use with no account. If you choose to start a free Pro trial or purchase a Pro license, we process only:
This is the only personal data involved, it is used solely for licensing, and it is never linked to any document. Payments are handled by our payment provider (a Merchant of Record); we never see or store your card details.
We do not sell, rent, or share your email with anyone. It is used only to operate your license.
You can request deletion of your email/license record at any time by contacting us.
